WCR Vice President of Membership
The Vice President of Membership (a REALTOR®) oversees all membership
activities. The position
is accountable for the recruitment, retention and recapturing membership
efforts of the chapter.
Duties for 2009:
- Oversee the Membership Marketing Committee
- Attend all Governing Board and Business Resource Meetings
- Review and be familiar with the Chapter’s Bylaws and Standing Rules
- Review and be familiar with the WCR history and structure
- Attend the following State, Regional and National Meetings (partial
chapter subsidy)
Dec 1-2, 2008 -- State WCR Orientation/Installation
Conference,
Scottsdale, AZ
March 11 -12, 2009 – State WCR/AAR MidWinter Conference,
Prescott, AZ
May 14-17, 2009 – WCR/NAR MidYear Meeting,
Washington, DC
June or July 2009 -- State WCR Conference TBD
November 11-15, 2009 – WCR/NAR National Convention,
San Diego, CA
- Schedule and conduct Orientation Sessions for new members.
- Monitor membership reports received from National and follow up on
discrepancies
- Maintain the Evite Address Book by adding, deleting or making
changes as needed
- Establish local membership goals in coordination with the Local
Chapter President & Governing Board
- Communicate membership goals and organize Chapter efforts to achieve
the goals
- Implement the National Membership Marketing Campaign that
concludes March 31st
- Report to National any corrections or changes to member’s
information
- Maintain an adequate supply of applications forms and National
marketing pieces (ad slicks, logos, etc) for use in New Member Packets and WCR
and local association newsletters.
